Laura Twichell is an associate attorney with the firm. Her practice focuses primarily on litigation including criminal defense, family law, general civil disputes, and juvenile representation. Prior to working at the firm, Laura practiced criminal defense as an Assistant Public Defender in Dare County.
Laura earned her J.D. at Wake Forest University in 2014. While in law school, she served as the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board, was a member of the American Association for Justice trial team, and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. Laura received her B.A. in Political Science and Religion from Bucknell University in 2011.
Laura is a member of the Dare County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council and volunteers as a mentor for Dare County Friends of Youth.
