Christopher L. Seawell

Christopher L. Seawell was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and has been with the firm since its establishment in 1977. He received his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his J.D. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.

He is admitted to practice in the state courts of North Carolina, and in the federal courts, including the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eastern District of North Carolina, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Dare County Bar Association. He is the Vice President of the Outer Banks Community Foundation and a board member of the Friends of the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum. He is a current board member and past chairman of the Roanoke Island Historical Association, and is a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.

His experience of over 45 years includes comprehensive real estate law, civil litigation, corporate and business law, probate and estate planning, and wills and trusts. He is a certified mediator and is recognized with the highest professional rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Dictionary.
